Richard Smith, one of the worlds best guitar players, first appeared in London with the late great Chet Atkins at age eleven. He went on to form a trio with his two brothers, but eventually the lure of America took him to Nashville, the USAs Music City, where he has now become an established performer.
He has played for all his idols, Jerry Reed, who he brought to tears with Jerry`s own music, Chet whose protégé he became, and who loved to hear him play, and of course Les Paul with whom he used to play whenever he visited New York.
